1973 Konig 500 GP Kim Newcombe Replica - Classic-Racer in 57440 Angevillers

Replica/ continuation of a GP Motorcycle made famous by its two-stroke König engine from the powerboat racing.

This project, almost complete, will put on wheels a motorcycle similar to the one driven by Kim Newcombe during the 1973 season. He finished that year as runner-up, ahead of Agostini and behind Read, both on MV Agusta.

The set includes the following elements, identical to those gathered at the time by Newcombe to build his motorcycle:

* New frame and swingarm in 25CD4S steel, following the original design.
* New 500 cc König engine (Power: 85/90 Hp DIN)
* New shock absorbers.
* New electronic ignition.
* New Ceriani GP fork – diameter 35 mm.
* Aluminum fork tees.
* Handlebar Bracelet - Diameter 35 mm.
* Front wheel: Yamaha TZA with 1.85x18 aluminum rim.
* Front brake: Yamaha TZA drum Four cams – diameter 280 mm, genuine and reconditioned.
* Rear wheel: Yamaha TZA with 3.00x18 aluminum rim.
* Rear Brake: Yamaha TZA Double Cam Drum – 230 mm Diameter, Genuine and Reconditioned.
* Rear and front brake cables with splitter and accessories – New assembly.
* Gas handle
* Brake and clutch lever
* Krober electronic tower account.
* New Bob Newby primary transmission and clutch.
* Remote controls with brake pedal and selector.
* New fiberglass rear shell.
* Exhaust pipes.
* Water pump.
