Das es sich um eine Matchless handelt, .....ist ja nicht so schwer......Steht ja groß genug auf dem Tank..

Aber der Fahrer mit den 3 weißen Streifen am Helm...der kommt mir doch etwas bekannt vor.....

Und dabei denke ich nicht an Adi Dassler... :D

Und die Strecke ...könnte St-Wendel sein...jedenfalls ein Stadtkurs...

I started racing in 1964 on an old but good AJS 7R at circuits like Silverstone, Snetterton and Brands Hatch. Good circuits to learn on with British Motorcycle Racing Club or Bemsee as it was called.

I worked my way up the ladder and got International licence in 1966 and raced my first race on the Continent at Bourg-en-Bresse street circuit and was lucky to win the 350 race on my Norton Manx.

In 1968 I raced with the Continental Circus at all types of crazy tracks.

My first G.P. was in 1969 at the French G.P. at Le Mans
on a 500cc Linto. I finished 6th the 500cc World Championship that year.

It was to be my best result. I raced G.P. untill 1975. My best result was 2nd in the Yugoslav G.P. on the old Opatija circuit behind Kim Newcombe on the Konig.

I was at the British G.P. when he was tragically killed. There is a story there also.

Anyway I raced until I was forced to retire through injuries sustained at the Finish 750cc World Champioship at Hamenlina .

Jetzt haben wir Namen , und Motorrad ( was ja sehr einfach war , für mich jedenfalls) ich wollte den anderen den Vortritt lassen , aber da wollte ja keiner so recht . Also das Jahr müsste dann 1965 oder 1966 ( mit 350er Norton) plus vielleicht Matchless in der 500er gewesen sein !

Keine Reaktion !! ??

Leute ,Leute !!

Langsam wird diese schöne Seite zur Farce. !! Es kommen kaum noch Reaktionen zu schönen echten Motorrad Classic oder Classic

Motorrad Angelegenheiten.

Zu der Frage Des Motorrades des Monats Fahrer , Jahr und Wo !!kommt nichts mehr.

Was ich damals auch schon an den Reaktionen (oder NICHT Reaktionen , (Ausser Peter,) besser "gesagt") als das erfolgreichste Strassen Renngespann das von Enders Engelhardt Busch , nach Japan verkauft wurde.

NUN überzeugt mich und den Autor der Webside vom Gegenteil !!

ich tippe auf das Jahr 1967.
In diesem Jahr belegte der Herr Ellis den 2. Platz (hinter Walter Scheimann) beim Flugplatzrennen in Tulln. Vielleicht wurde dort ja auch das Foto geschossen?
